Couples Dune Trip!

So I didn't take many pictures but here is the gang at the wall watching Kamala roll my quad down it!
This is the wall where Richard went to save Kam! She is sitting behind Richard trying to get up after dashing out of the way so the quad didn't roll over her. She did an awesome job. The quad only rolled 6 times and ended back on its tires. You can see it below them. Check out Kam's blog for the video clip!!

We had so much fun and are thankful there were no injuries to anyone (just the quads)!! It's great to sleep in, ride as much as we want and just be together. We enjoyed dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Yuma Sat. night. At one point there was 18 of us in our train of quads/dirt bikes out riding the hills. Imagine what that looked like as we all followed our Amazing leader Nathan and managed not to hit the back of the line as we bowl rided. I guess you had to be there!! =) Thanks to all the Safford friends who joined us in our fun trip!

Rylan: we have different faces

Rylan: I don't know
Austin: do lots of loving stuff

Rylan: that place that has crab legs . . . red lobster
Austin: the dunes with dad
Megan: places with us or on a cruise
Carson: Disneyland

So I learned a lot from my kids! My sweet sensitive Rylan isn't so sweet on the inside. I guess all I do is boss him around! Oh what they really think!! Gotta love it. Carson is so innocent. I guess I have some things to work on!

Birthday Boy!

My Baby turned 4 and I can't believe it! He is such a cutie! No more diapers at this house. Carson always makes for a loud and busy house. We love our wild and crazy boy!!!

Birthday

So my birthday came and went. Thanks to all who called, sent a text or facebook note. It's nice to know I have friends and family who love me when I get old! It was a normal day of kids fighting, back and forth to school, and homework (that didn't get done until aunt Kamala came over)! A few phone calls, flowers from my hubby, a cake from my neighbors which brightend the day. Then my Babe came home from work and took me out! I opened the door to the car and found a few gifts. How sweet! We went to our favorite steakhouse, Firebirds, and stuffed ourselves. Then to the mall to do some much needed shopping with a Christmas gift card! I love shopping with my Babe. We are not the best shoppers and it's not our favorite thing to do but being together hand in hand makes anything fun! Thanks Kamala for babysitting. She's a keeper when we come home to a clean house, kids in bed, and homework done.

Love the background. This totally sums up what we love! Thanks Sherry for the background change. It's always fun to see how creative you are. Can't wait for our couple dune trip coming up! And speaking of love, I was lucky enough to spend the day with my Babe at Magic Mountain! We had so much fun with Kam and Chad. That is a great way to spend Valentines Day! I never take the time to post when people tag me but here are a few of the many reasons I love my Hubby!

Lemons!

When Life Gives you Lemons, Make Lemonade!
We have lots of lemons and I'd like to say we had fun picking them, but they all wanted the ladder and the gloves (the thorns were a killer)! But I did bribe them to pick a basket full.

Austin helping me juice them, put them in ice cube trays and freeze them. It makes it so easy to thaw and use.

They all wanted a piece of the action. What a fun sticky adventure!

Lemons anyone?? We also have oranges, cuties, and grapefruit so come on over and pick what you want! I should have taken a picture of the wonderful lemon meringue pie I made.
