Happy Birthday Austin!

Austin turns 9 today!
So I don't have the best memory so I had to get out his journal to recal the details of his birth day! I had had a pretty good healthy pregnancy with Austin thank goodness beacuse Megan was barely 1 year old. I had had my membranes stripped at my doctors appointment the day before and had Tifani come over that night to give me a massage because I was crampy. I went to bed and slept well. I woke up around 5am and was very hungry so I ate some Kix. The contractions hit around 6 and came hard and fast. I thought I would be in labor many hours so I called my mom and told her it would probably be awhile! 30 minutes later I was off to the hospital and in a lot of pain. I will always remember the long car ride to the hospital! The doctor broke my water as soon as I got there and less than an hour later with only a few pushes he came! Austin was born at 9:30am weighing only 6 lbs and was 19.5 in long. He was a good baby and Megan loved holding her little brother!
We are so lucky to have Austin in our family. We love You Austin!

All in a Summer's Day!

This is a really long post of the random things we've been up to this summer.
The boys decided to sleep under the tramp! Looks like there was only room for one of them!

This is the next best thing when you don't have a pool to go swimming! Megan always fits right in with the boys.
Here are some of the kids at free lunch which we have taken advantage of this summer. They had an ice cream day which was fun!
Here is the Shamrock cow at free lunch!

Another free lunch activity! Carson was so excited to see the fire truck. We had Mary and her kids with us too! So cute

One day they had a police man and his police dog come and tell us all about the bomb dog! He showed us how he sniffed for bombs.

Here is Aaron at ROTC training at Ft. Knox in Kentucky.

Here is Army Aaron!

Aaron, Amanda, and Megan doing the lawn!

Primary activity day! I only took one picture, dang it. Rylan is shaving his balloon daddy! It was cute!

Swim fun at Grandpa and Grandmas!

Megan with her cousins. We love to have them visit!

The next few pictures are Austin at scout day camp. Here he is ready to shoot his rocket!

Racing his boat he made.

Carving his boat!

We found our neighbors turkeys out in our backyard the other day and the kids got a big kick out of it. They aren't even afraid of Carson!!

I had to take this picture cause it doesn't happen very often. A playroom full of fun toys and he very rarely plays with them. I wondered where Carson was and what he was doing because it was too quiet (this is usually a very bad thing) and this is how I found him!

So here are a few of the things we've been up to this summer! It's too bad I'm not getting more accomplished but who has time for that when it takes all day to entertain the kids! We've done lots of trips this summer camping, boating, and out of town which has been fun. We go to summer movie fun every Wednesday morning and have really enjoyed meeting up with all the Harmon cousins. We also go to Brimhall pool a few times a week to get out of the house and enjoy the pool. So far it's been a pretty fun and eventful summer and we look forward to more fun trips to come!

Found It!

Well they found my car, stripped of course. And since they took the wheels and tires off, it was dragged onto the tow truck causing lots of damage. So frustrating. Now we just wait and see what the insurance company will do.

It makes me so sad to see my car like this =(

Eastern AZ Courier!

So the kids made it in the Eastern AZ paper celebrating the 4th! Aren't small towns great!

Goodbye Denali

So my beautiful blacked out Denali was stolen out of our garage Tuesday night. Richard got up to leave for work at 4 am and saw my car was no longer in the garage and the garage door was up. He came running back into the room asking me if I'd left the garage door up. I had checked and made sure it was closed at 10 before I went to bed. I quickly checked to make sure all the kids were in their beds and nothing else had been taken. It's so frustrating and annoying. I know I'm lucky they didn't take more and that my family is safe, but I feel like a part of me is gone. I loved my car! We hope next week brings better luck!! This week has been off to a rough start.

Glass Man

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of running a glass company!! This is the Ugly effects of a 500 lb piece of glass coming crashing down. Thankfully Richard got the brunt of the injuries and the other 3 guys only had some minor cuts. Nothing 4 staples can't fix. He will use this as a learning tool for his guys to always wear hard hats!

Gotta love my glass man!!

July 4th Celebration!

Here we are on July 3 at Bonita Creek! We took the Rhino out and drove through the creek and had a great time! It even started to rain which added to the adventure. The kids played in the water and we all came home with some wonderful bites all over us which took weeks to heal! Crazy but fun! Thanks Justin and Becky for taking us out for the day!
The beautiful Cluff family who we love so much!

Rylan falling after his dad through a gigantic rock next to him!

Trying to hit the rocks being thrown at him

The boys exploring

Megan and her friend Logan!

My beautiful Megan

The girl having just as much fun as the boys

Playing together, doesn't get better than that!

Trying to get the floating shoes!

The kids joined the Cluffs in their CKC float at the 4th of July parade. This is a wagon and horses being pulled by a bull (lawn mower) that Becky's talented father made. They had fun waving at everyone. Aren't they cute!

Austin and Loggie

After the parade we all went to my moms and had lunch and swam. Here is Rylan enjoying his cupcake! The kids all blew out a candle and sang Happy Birthday to America! What fun!

Carson and Logan being silly

Carson dancing at the concert as we waited for the firework show. I think the kids had way more fun dancing and being crazy at the concert than they did watching the fireworks.

Austin showing us his moves!

We had such a fun weekend in Safford. Saturday started with the parade and then the swimming party and lunch at Grandma's house. Then a short rest before we headed out to the fairgrounds for a fun concert and firework show. Thanks Cluff's for letting us join you! The kids had a blast.
