CA getaway trip!

We took a much needed trip to CA with some of our bestest friends the Cochranes! Had a blast at the beach and then Magic Mountain. Some stories will have to stay private, but the memories will always be vivid in me and Nikkis head!! lol
Richard, Buddy, and Nikki wanted to fly, so I took the pictures!

My Babe at the Beach! It was super cold in the water so we just hung out enjoing some sun and the waves.

Getting ready for the day! Drinking an energy drink.

Those silly boys having fun, but freezing!

The awesome Cochranes! Love those guys!

Yes that is Richard getting into a mini van. Thought it would never happen to see him driving one, but we are getting smarter the older we get and took the more economic vehicle with better gas mileage! He still looks hot not matter what he is driving!!! =)

Cluff Reunion 2010

We decided last minute to go to the Cluff reunion at Sherwood Forest! We had a blast as usual. The kids love love love being in the woods and playing with all the cousins.

Here is Rylan, when we found him after looking all over the place for him, inside Grandmas trailer talking. So cute!
Love to play cards! Uncle George is the best to play with all the kiddos

The Harmon's talent is getting Shay to howl. Such talent we have.

The boys found a cool place to eat!

Here is everyone making smores!
Megan and the girls in the talent show. They always do such a great job on their dances!

Going to the dentist! Oh so fun! Aug 2010
Austin made himself right at home.

Carson who had to have 5 cavities filled.

Rylan, what a good sport. No cavities!

Aaron showing the kids what he ate at his Army camp in July 2010. They thought it was cool how he had to heat up the food and all the stuff that came in the MRE. They even got to taste it!

Megan getting her hair highlighted for the first time! So fun

The Shumways came for a visit the end of July 2010 and here are a few pictures ...

4th of July 2010

We left on Thursday and headed up to Heber to Granny and Grumpys cabin. We dropped off Meg and Rylan with Granny and headed up to St. Johns to repair a window for a job up there. Then we met Granny and the kids in Show Low for dinner. Richard had to get his pepper crusted steak which he enjoyed.
Friday we hung out at the cabin and went to the clubhouse for some pool and tennis and enjoyed the cooler weather. We headed back to Show Low and took the kids to Toy Story III in 3D which was fun. Then we grabbed a hamburger and went to the church lawn for a picnic. We met up with Grandma Susan and Grandpa Don where they were saving seats for the musical "1856." We enjoyed the musical as best as we could with restless Carson and then headed back to Heber for the night.
Saturday we woke up early to head to Show Low for the Edmund Ellsworth reunion breakfast. Then it was off to the parade. The kids loved the parade and catching all the candy. We got a little sunburned but had fun. We then headed back to Heber for some rest before the fireworks. We were excited to have the Mowers show up for a visit. Then back to Show Low again for some games and barbeque. The boys made rockets, played games, ran in races (which Megan won), and enjoyed being outside. By the way all this time Austin is in UT with Heidi and Mary so we missed him. We drove back to Heber to watch the fireworks with the Mowers. Richard vows not to ever go to fireworks again. Its too long to wait with way too much traffic to get out. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone since I forgot my camera.

Rylan showing off his rockets
carson finally sat down and watched the fireworks. He was a crazy boy until they started

Richard who was thrilled!

Megan and Faith patiently waiting listening to her ipod

Carson asked this little girl if he could ride with her. He is such a flirt!

Sending the rockets off high into the air. Rylan's rocket flew the farthest! The rockets were made of rolled up paper and duck tape wrapped around it. Then they put it on pvc pipe hooked up to an air compressor and send it way up. It would land clear across the baseball field. Rylan loved it!

Dad helping Rylan construct the rocket.

The Ellsworth clan in the parade

Catching candy

I thought this was cute, the kids watching the upcomming float awaiting the candy

The boys thought these droids were cool.

This is my handsome Carson as we were waiting for dad to fix the window in St. Johns.

It was a fun, but exhausting weekend. We enjoyed the cooler weather! As we headed back home Sunday morning we meet up with our friends the Cochranes in Payson. We grabbed some lunch (thanks Buddy ;) and went to the park where they were having their 4th celebration. The kids had fun in all the races. They ran in their age group in egg/spoon, backwards run, sack race, one legged, and just running which Megan won again! She is fast. Once mom and dad could take no more, we left to drive home. Back to the heat, yuck.

Weekend in Safford

We joined Heidi and Bruce in Safford for some fun. Lot's of swimming, food, and relaxing together. The kids enjoyed Brooklyn! It was fun to be with both my pregnant sisters! I'm so excited for babies to come.

Aren't they cute!
